# 12-month warranty

> PrimaSTEM screen-free coding robot kit

## 1. How long?

PrimaSTEM SAS warrants the robot, the control board and the tokens against defects in materials and workmanship that affect how they work, for 12 months from the date of purchase shown on your invoice or receipt. This warranty is free of charge (included in the price of the kit) and is valid in every country where the kit is sold.

## 2. Wooden parts

Plywood parts are made to normal tolerances for natural wood. Small differences in size, small gaps between parts and variations in grain and colour are not defects.

## 3. What is not covered?

* Accidental or intentional damage, such as drops, impacts or crushing
* Contact with liquids
* Use, charging or storage not in line with the instructions
* Opening, repair or modification by anyone other than PrimaSTEM, or unofficial firmware
* Normal wear and tear: scratches, marks, dirt or darkening of the wooden cases, wear of the tokens, and loss of battery capacity over time

## 4. How to make a claim

Email **[info@primastem.com](mailto:info@primastem.com)** with your invoice or receipt number, a short description and photos or a video. Please do not send the product to us without our agreement: we will first try to solve the problem remotely.

## 5. What will we do?

If the defect is covered, we will, at our choice:

* **Repair or replace:** we repair or replace the faulty robot or control board. You send it to us at your cost (unless the law of your country requires otherwise) and we send it back at our cost.
* **Refund:** we refund the price of the kit, excluding shipping.

Replacement or repair does not extend the warranty period.

## 6. Care

Store in a dry place between +5 °C and +35 °C. Charge the robot and the control board at least every 3 months, using USB 5 V only.

## 7. Your legal rights

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. It applies in addition to the seller’s legal guarantee of conformity for consumers in the EU and, in France, to the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641–1649 of the French Civil Code).
